Skits & “Gift of Life” on Organ Donation at Annual Function – B.P. National College of Social Work, Nagpur

  • On March 10, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur attended the Annual Function at B.P. National College of Social Work as part of its ongoing efforts to promote awareness about organ donation.

    On behalf of MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Neha Sailwar attended the program. During the event, students performed a skit on organ donation, delivering a powerful and impactful message about the importance of organ donation as a life-saving cause. The performance engaged the audience and encouraged them to reflect on the significance of saving lives through donation.

    Following the skit, Ramesh Bhisikar, Ambassador of MOHAN Foundation, along with Ms. Neha Sailwar, conducted an awareness session on organ donation. They explained key concepts such as brain death and cardiac (circulatory) death, and emphasized the importance of community participation in promoting organ donation.

    They also addressed common queries raised by the participants, including:

    • Whether organ donation is legal
    • What are the age criteria for organ donation

    All doubts were clarified, helping participants gain a clear and informed understanding of the subject.

    After the session, Ms. Neha Sailwar and Mr. Ramesh Bhisikar distributed participation certificates to the students, appreciating their efforts in spreading awareness through their performance.

    Around 300 students and staff members attended the program. The event concluded with positive engagement and successfully contributed to spreading awareness about organ donation among students and attendees.
