On June 22, 2026, the SRDF-MF Foundation was honored to conduct an organ donation awareness session at Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, Sonipat, Haryana, following an invitation from CO Wg Cdr Senin Basheer and Adjutant MWO AK Singh, 2 HR AIR SQN NCC Karnal. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 350 cadets representing schools and colleges across Karnal and Sonipat along with 10 Officers.
The session was inaugurated by Mrs. Sangeeta Jamwal, Head of Operations at SRDF-MF, who shared the mission and vision of the foundation. She emphasized organ donation as the ultimate “gift of life” and highlighted the vital role of youth in championing this noble cause. Mrs. Jamwal also presented the current status of organ donation in India, comparing it with global benchmarks and discussing policy frameworks such as the opt-out system.

The cadets and officers actively participated, asking insightful questions and expressing their support. The Commandant and officers concluded by encouraging all cadets to pledge their organs and spread awareness among family, friends, and teachers.
This initiative not only educated the participants but also inspired them to become ambassadors for organ donation, reinforcing the message that donating organs is the ultimate act of giving life.
