Observership Program in MOHAN Affiliate Institution or Hospitals


The MOHAN Foundation Observership Program offers Transplant healthcare professionals and students the opportunity to gain exposure to the field of organ donation, transplantation, and transplant nephrology.


Program Overview
Observers may:

  • Attend rounds, clinics, and academic meetings
  • Watch procedures and surgeries in the operating room and transplant units
  • Observe educational sessions, seminars, and workshops at Affiliate Institution or Hospitals
Observers are not permitted to:
  • Provide direct patient care
  • Perform or assist in surgical or clinical procedures
  • Access patient records independently
  • Participate in research activities, unless separately approved


Duration
The observership typically ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, with a maximum extension up to 8 weeks, depending on the hosting centerТs availability and the observerТs area of interest.

Eligibility

  • Medical graduates, postgraduate students, fellows, and allied healthcare professionals with an interest in transplantation and organ donation.
  • International applicants are welcome.


Certification
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded at the end of the observership by the concerned institution and by MOHAN Foundation.
