On March 13, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur conducted a session on the “Role of Police in Organ Donation” at Mankapur Police Station in collaboration with Max Hospital.
On behalf of MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Neha Sailwar and Ms. Veena Wathore participated in the session. From Max Hospital, Ms. Priti Jain, Ms. Nikhat, and other team members were present.
During the session, Ms. Priti Jain and Ms. Veena Wathore shared detailed information about the critical role of police in the organ donation process, especially in medico-legal cases. They explained procedures related to documentation, coordination, and timely support required from police authorities. Sample formats of Form No. 8 and Form No. 10 were also presented and explained to help the police personnel better understand the legal requirements. An interactive Question & Answer session was conducted, during which queries related to NOC procedures and legal formalities were addressed and clarified by Ms. Priti Jain and Ms. Veena Wathore.
Ms. Neha Sailwar coordinated with the participants, collected contact details of the hospital management team and police personnel to strengthen future collaboration and communication. Around 30 police personnel attended the session. The program concluded with a group photograph, marking the successful completion of the session.
