On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dadabhai Naroji on 04.09.2021, RJ Asha invited me to deliver a Radio Talk on Eye & Solid Organ Donation at 8 A.M.
Ms. Asha gave my introduction and the interaction started at dot 8 am. Questions varied from the age group for eyes and organ donation, myths related to organ donation, how much time lapse after death for eye donation, number of waiting list and how many donations take place in India every year and many others.
I have conducted many Radio Talks, normally it lasts for around five minutes, interspersed by songs but this interaction went on for 15 minutes, touching every aspect of Organ & Eye Donation.
During the talk, MOHAN Foundation website details, Helpline number and Chandigarh MF number was repeated several time. This gave a wide coverage and milage to MOHAN Foundation.
I was informed that this program had a coverage of many districts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and J&K, covering a population of around 130 million with an average base of 150 to 250 thousand listeners.
We have received several calls on our Chandigarh Mobile number and on Helpline, enquiring about process of Eyes & Solid Organ Donation.
