On 3rd September 2021, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 45 students from various parts of Punjab participated in the session.
Mr. Santosh Kumar, State Training Supervisor addressed the gathering and gave a brief introduction on organ donation to the participants.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points.
It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked various questions and enquired the process of online pledging as they desire to pledge organ online. Around 20 of them have pledged online.
