On 25th May 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited to the Super Specialty Hospital, Nagpur, to setup an awareness stall and speak about organ donation to the outpatients. Dr. Milind Phulpatil, the Special Duty In-charge of Super Specialty Hospital extended the invitation. The stall was equipped with information brochures, donor cards, standees and banners. Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator managed the stall.
The following information was given to the outpatients visiting the hospital:
Around 30 patients and their relatives visited the stall. After understanding about organ donation, 10 patients and relatives collected consent forms and 2 patients signed consent forms and received donor cards and few others mentioned they will sign consent forms after discussing with their family.
