MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur put up a stall at the Government Medical College’s OPD section to create awareness about deceased organ donation on 23rd May 2019. This programme was organized for the patients and their families who visit the OPD of the college Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator gave information about the subject. He stressed the importance of understanding brain death and organ donation. He also explained the types of death and process of eye donation. Bulu also explained the activities of MOHAN Foundation and how the MOHAN foundation website and helpline number could be used.
About 40 people visited the stall and 3 people signed consent forms and collected donor cards.
