The information stall on Organ Donation set up in the centre for the science expo continued for the 2nd Day – 10 January 2016. Dr. Krishna Kamble, Retd. Head of the Radiology Department had invited to MOHAN Foundation to set an information counter in association with Government Medical College for visitors to the centre.
The stall was decorated with banner, standees and postersabout organ donation. Information brochures, pledge forms and donor cards were available for the public. Ms. Kanchan Shewde & Mr. Bulu Behera, organ transplant coordinators of MOHAN Foundation manned the stall. 550 students as well as public vivited the stall. 2 students signed the pledge form and picked a donor card.
The following questions were asked:-
1. How can we know that a patient has kidney failure?
2. Where is liver transplant?
3. After organ donation will the body be disfigured?
4. Nagpur has how many organ transplant centers?
