On 08th November 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness program on organ donation for members of Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Hillside in their general meeting. Totally 28 members participated in the session.
Ms. Prarthana addressed the gathering by sharing about MOHAN Foundation and its activities. She then asked the participants to share their opinion about organ donation.
Thereafter, she touched upon the below topics about organ donation:
1. Concept of body donation and its procedure.
2. Types of death.
1. Brain death
2. Cardiac death
3. Tissue donation and its process
4. Procedure of eye donation.
5. How to pledge your organs.
The session was highly interactive; the participants expressed their views and opinion and raised certain questions, which were as follows:
The session inspired and motivated 24 participants to pledge their organs. The participants and organizers appreciated Ms. Prarthana for her noble work on organ donation.
