On May 8, 2026, an eye donation awareness session took place at PHC Sakharshet, Jawhar, with an attendance of around 40 participants.
The session aimed to educate attendees on the importance of eye donation, corneal blindness, and the procedures and advantages of this noble act. Information on the initiatives of the MOHAN Foundation and the Mahadrishti Project was also shared during the event.
The primary objective of the session was to raise awareness within the community and motivate individuals to actively participate in promoting and supporting eye donation. The participants engaged in fruitful discussions and displayed a keen interest in comprehending the significance of contributing to this cause.
