A successful eye donation awareness session took place on 11 May 2026 at Patangshaha Kutir Hospital Jawhar, organized by MOHAN Foundation.
Around 50 participants attended the session, where they were educated on the significance of eye donation and its impact on restoring vision for individuals with corneal blindness. The session covered topics such as the eye donation process, eligibility criteria, common myths, and the societal importance of posthumous eye donation.
Participants engaged in discussions actively and were encouraged to raise awareness about eye donation within their communities . Eye donation is a selfless act that can provide the gift of sight to those in need. By donating one's eyes after death, individuals can contribute to restoring vision and improving the quality of life for others. It is crucial to raise awareness about eye donation to ensure a brighter future for those suffering from corneal blindness.
