Young volunteers from Villupuram called on Organ Donation Helpline, 1800 103 7100 stating that they are interested in working in the field of Organ Donation. Mr Ganesh, Marketing Coordinator, who answered the call, guided them to do Organ Donation Ambassador Course. Mr Arun Kumar, one of the volunteers, invited MOHAN Foundation to create awareness at his sister’s engagement.
The engagement of Ms Deepika and Ramkumar was held on December 14, 2023 at a small marriage hall in Mailam, Tindivanam, Tamilnadu. Mr. Ganesh C, attended the function and distributed information brochures to the guests. He sat with small groups and individuals and explained the concept of organ donation, transplantation, government schemes and honours and the importance of organ donation helpline 1800 103 7100.
The function was attended by 80 guests, 57 of them picked the information brochures distributed and 17 members picked up the donor card. MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude towards Mr Arul Murugan for this opportunity and supporting us in taking the information to rural places.
