  Audience pledging for organ donation

  On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day i.e., 2^nd June 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up an information desk at KLR Khaman Medchal. The Information desk was set up in association with Yuva Shakthi Mandal. Speaking at the occasion,the Yuva Shakthi Mandal Chief spoke about the need to augment organ donation and urged the audience to pledge for organ donation. Ms. Srividya Subramanian manned the stall

  Several people visited the information desk and pledged to be organ donors. Ms. Srividya.S spoke about the need and importance of organ donation and explained in detail the key concepts of organ donation. Some of the following questions were posed by the visitors at the stall

  • The process of skin donation
  • How to reach MOHAN Foundation in case of death
  • Cadaveric donation- how does the medical college store the cadavers?
  • How can one donate organs in case of any comorbidities
