On January 8, 2025, during the NSS Camp of G.S. College of Commerce and Economics, Nagpur, MOHAN Foundation carried out a Helpline Sticker Initiative in Yerla village with the objective of increasing awareness about organ donation and ensuring easy access to the MOHAN Foundation helpline number for the local community.
As part of the initiative, organ donation helpline stickers were placed at two key locations in the village:
These locations were selected to ensure maximum visibility and reach among school students, villagers, and community members.
On behalf of MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Neha Sailwar actively carried out the activity by placing the helpline stickers and engaging with the local community. She shared detailed information on organ donation, brain stem death, the process of taking an organ donation pledge, and the role of the MOHAN Foundation helpline in providing guidance and support related to organ donation.
The initiative received strong support and cooperation from Ms. Veena Chavhan (NSS Coordinator), Mr. Kamlesh Thote (Faculty), and Ms. Tanu Ekalkar (Faculty), whose encouragement and assistance helped in effectively reaching the students and the community.
MOHAN Foundation sincerely acknowledges their support in facilitating this awareness activity. The helpline sticker initiative contributed meaningfully to public education and furthered the Foundation’s mission of promoting organ donation awareness at the grassroots level.
