On January 12, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur, carried out a Helpline Sticker Initiative at Purushottam Thote College of Social Work with the objective of increasing awareness about organ donation and promoting the MOHAN Foundation toll-free helpline among students and college staff.
As part of this outreach activity, helpline stickers were displayed on the college premises, ensuring clear visibility for students, faculty, and visitors. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about organ and tissue donation, provide easy access to the MOHAN Foundation helpline, address queries related to organ donation and transplantation and encourage the younger generation to support and promote this life-saving cause.
On behalf of MOHAN Foundation, Ms. Neha Sailwar coordinated and executed the activity. She ensured proper placement of the helpline sticker on the college notice board and shared information with students and staff about the vision of MOHAN Foundation and the Pan-India Organ Donation and Transplant Toll-Free Helpline – 1800 103 7100. She also explained that the helpline, functioning since 2012, provides information, support, guidance and referral services related to organ donation and transplantation.
The initiative was conducted with the support and cooperation of MS Nandashree Bhure (Principal) and Mr. Suryawanshi (Faculty) whose assistance played a key role in the successful implementation of the activity.
