On 24th November 2021, postgraduate Nursing students from the Government College in Rajbhavan Road visited the MOHAN Foundation office in Khairatabad, to attend an awareness session on organ donation.
Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Transplant Coordinator of the Foundation explained the concept of brain death, importance of the organ donation, eye donation and body donation, THO 1994 Act, myths about organ donation, transplant coordinator’s training program and MOHAN Foundation’s activities.
A total of 25 students attended the session and pledged their organs. Information brochures and donor cards were distributed.
