MOHAN Foundation was invited by Indian People Rights Organisation for the second time to promote organ donation to its members. It was part of a member felicitation program at Vysarpadi, Chennai. Mr. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive conducted the program.
Mr. Siva Shankar started the talk with an Introduction to MOHAN Foundation. He elaborated about the organs that can be donated; the organs that can be donated while the person in alive and the organs that can be donated when the person is dead. He further shared the concept of brain death, and the fact that organs donation is possible in the event of Brain Death.
There were 60 participants during the session, 35 registered as donors and picked up the donor card to support organ donation. MOHAN Foundation thanks Mr. Sasi Kumar .J, Secretary for organizing the session and to support this noble cause.
