MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Sujatha, President, Alumni Association of KTCT Girls High School, Sowcarpet to conduct an awareness session and also to put up an information stall on organ donation on 14th February 2015. The occasion was an alumni meet and celebration and the event was named as “Prathibha”. The event was organized at PRC Centenary Hall, T. Nagar.
MOHAN Foundation set a stall with posters, banners, standees and information brochures. Ms. Kavitha. S, Marketing Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation explained to the participants about the importance of deceased organ donation, importance of carrying donor card, procedure involved with organ donation & eye donation, concept of brain death and myths surrounding organ donation.
30 old students visited the stall and pledged to donate organs.
