On March 21, 2025, MOHAN Foundation volunteer Ms. Deepika Jain took the initiative to raise awareness about organ donation among members of her group, the Global India Women Association (GIWA). Ms. Deepika, a cousin of Ms. Mamta Jain (an Anudaan supporter), organized the session at her residence in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi.
To prepare for the session, Ms. Deepika reached out to the MOHAN Foundation Delhi team to gather information and deepen her understanding of the subject. She then shared her knowledge with the group, which primarily consisted of homemakers.
During the session, she explained the fundamentals of organ donation and addressed common myths surrounding it. The discussion on these misconceptions was particularly enlightening for many attendees.
The session was well-received, with approximately 30 women participating.
