  • June 14, 2025 – In a significant step towards inclusive organ donation awareness, Project Manager Mr. Venkatesh Kattela successfully conducted a compelling talk at the Interfaith Pride Feast in Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills. This initiative, held during Pride Month, was a collaborative effort with Rubaroo and Mobera Foundation, aimed at engaging marginalized communities within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

The session comprehensively covered essential aspects of organ donation, including:

    • What organ donation is
    • Different types of organ donation
    • The critical distinction between brain death and cardiac arrest
    • The significance of the donor card
    • The consent process involved in organ donation
    • Common myths and misconceptions
    • The urgent need for organ donation in society

Over 200 LGBTQIA+ individuals participated in the awareness talk. Attendees engaged actively with the topic and expressed significant appreciation for the initiative, recognizing its importance. Many individuals enthusiastically pledged to become organ donors by signing donor cards on the spot. While a few participants showed reluctance to display their identity publicly, they nevertheless demonstrated their support by taking donor cards placed on the table, indicating a positive reception to the message. This event underscored the successful outreach to a vital, often underserved, community, furthering the cause of organ donation.
