To inculcate the message of organ donation among the nursing students, the Sacred Heart Nursing College organized an awareness programme on 20th May 2017. Mr. S.Venkatesh, Transplant Coordinator, Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai was invited to conduct the awareness session for the students. The following topics were addressed during the session.
A group of 100 budding nursing professionals attended the programme and pledged as organ donors at the end of the programme.
