On March 19th, 2012, MOHAN Foundation Bangalore organized an awareness programme on Organ Donation for the General, B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing students from Oxford Nursing College Bangalore. The programme was designed to provide students with relevant information in a crisp 45-minute PowerPoint presentation. The information related to the following topics:
More than 280 budding nursing professionals who attended the programme pledged to donate their organs. They also took up the responsibility of being the ambassadors for this noble cause to educate other members of their profession.
