MOHAN Foundation was invited for an awareness program in Thee Shiksha Sishya Bhawan play school, Kolathur on 5th August 2023. Ms. Arshiya Fathima H (Helpline Counselor) represented MOHAN Foundation to explain the concept of organ donation.
First and foremost a video was played to the 30 parent’s and teachers as audience that gave a clear picture about the noble cause from the point of view of the recipient. It showed that a single donor can help 8 other persons.
She elaborated on the Concepts of Organ Donation and Transplantation which included who, what and when donation can happen, Brain Death, skin and eye donation, voluntary body donation. It was a very interactive session with parent’s and teachers.
