On 11th August, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Krishnaraj Deshmukh, staff member of Bank Of Baroda.
The Mumbai office of MOHAN Foundation organized a stall and explained the purpose, necessity, importance and complex issues involved in deceased organ donation, the concept of brain death and cultural and religious barriers and beliefs related to organ donation.
Visiting customers, the staff and the Branch Manager of the Bank visited the stalls and all of them were given information brochures. Twenty three of those visiting the stall of them have shown support by pledging their organs for donation.
We wish to convey our sincerest thanks to Mr. Vijay Madhukar Jagtap the Branch Manager, Mr. Krishnaraj Deshkmukh and Mrs. Shubhangi V. Sawant for this initiative.
