On May 21, 2024, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness workshop for the residents and staff in theirMICU and SICU units.
The objective of this activity was to sensitize the medical staff on Organ donation, thisactivity included topics like importance of early detection of a potential donor, signs of a potential donor, donor maintenance and counselling of the relatives.
Team MOHAN assured assistance in boosting donations and creating awareness for the hospital staff through public education.
The session followed by questions raised bystaff regarding legal aspects of organ donation, obtaining consent from families and other topics. Thei nvolvement of NGOs was also discussed. 20 people attended the session.
