On May 29, 2024, MOHAN Foundation team was invited by the Red Cross society, Vadodara to conduct anawareness session on organ donation, for their students and staff. In the session, the role of NGOs in public education was highlighted and further discussions included various myths amongst the public, concepts of about brain stem death, how it is different from the state of coma. legal framework and State government guidelineson organ donation. Various aspects like who can donate organs, what organs can be donated, tissue and organdonation etc. were also presented. The session ended with a question-and-answer session where variousqueries were answered. 30 people attended and signed the donor cards.
