

MSc (Nursing) students from College of Nursing, Osmania General Hospital, approached us and were eager to know about MOHAN Foundation, its activities and policies & procedures of the foundation.
There were 35 students that came to our office on 21st September, 2017. All the participants were clearly explained the purpose, necessity, importance, complex issues in deceased organ donation. They were also shown films on the concept of brain death, THO Act, Religion & Myths on organ donation.
The following were discussed on MOHAN Foundation:
All the students were distributed with donor cards, family donor cards and information brochures. All the students that participated were also explained about our “Angels of Change Program”, where they can spread awareness among the youth and present it at several colleges. The students positively reacted to the idea and have promised to become our volunteers.
We thank the Principal and the management of Osmania Nursing College for permitting and facilitating the students to attend this sensitization session.
