  On 25^th September, 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by commandant, Col Daljit Singh, NCC. 1 Girls Battalion Haryana, to conduct an awareness session for their N.C.C.  Cadets and J.C.Os at Geeta Institute of Management and Technology, Kurukshetra. The group of Cadets were from Haryana Colleges. The Cadets were very much aware about Organ Donation. Around 400 Cadets & 2 J.C.Os participated in the program.

   

  Cadets & J.C.Os were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Ms. Deepika Arora & Mr. Sudhir Dewan.

   

  In this talk, she explained the concepts of Organ Donation, Brain Death, types of donors, myths and misconceptions on organ donation, MOHAN Foundation mission & vision, importance of  donor card, how one person can save many lives were covered in detail.

   

  It was indeed an amazing session. All the Cadets, J.C.Os & Commandant in the session expressed their support for the noble cause.

   

  At the end of the presentation, Col. Daljit motivated the Cadets in a big way and requested that we all should pledge our organs and talk to the family about this noble cause.
