On June 18, 2025, MOHAN Foundation participated in the 7th Trilogy Camp on Blood, Eye, and Organ Donation held at the Babina Blood Centre, Khabeisoi, Imphal. The event was jointly organized by the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, Manipur (AVBD), the Personality and Talent Development Organization (PATDO), and their associates.
Representing MOHAN Foundation were Ms. Laishram Monica Devi, Project Co-ordinator (Northeast) and Project Lead (Manipur); Mr. Bidyananda Laishram, Program Executive (Imphal); Mr. Vincent Debbarma, Project Lead (Tripura); and Ms. Thaudem Mayarani, Program Executive (Imphal).
An information and pledge counter was set up at the venue. Mr. Kumarjit Singh, Treasurer of AVBD, coordinated the camp. The MOHAN Foundation team shared valuable insights on organ and eye donation, covering key topics such as the types of organ donation, the medical definition of brain death, and the importance of family consent in the donation process. The team actively engaged with participants, addressed their queries, and distributed pamphlets containing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on organ donation.
Approximately 25 participants visited the pledge counter and received detailed information about organ and eye donation. Among them, two individuals pledged to donate their eyes and organs through the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO).
