On 21st October, 2015, MOHAN Foundation Chandigarh conducted an awareness session for the NSS students of D.A.V College, Sector-10. MOHAN Foundation was invited by the NSS in charge of the College Ms.Kulbir Sran to conduct the first lecture to commence the 7 day camp. It is 7 day long day and night camp in which 200 students participated from different departments of the college.
The Students were given a presentation on Organ Donation and were explained how they can be the ambassador to promote the cause in their respective department by Nilakshi. After the presentation a video on Brain Death was also shown and the phenomenon was explained to the students.
After the presentation students asked so many questions regarding Organ Donation and organ allocation. Some of the students shared how their loved ones had to die because of not getting any organ. It was an interesting session and an interactive one. All the students took the donor cards and filled them there and then. Information brochures were also distributed to them.
