  On 27^th April ,2022,an interactive session on Organ Donation was conducted at Transplant Coordinator .Dr. Bhanu Chandra’s residence to mark the first death anniversary of his father who succumbed to cardiac arrest. A prayer meeting followed by an interactive session on organ donation was conducted to mark his demise. In addition to this, a blood donation camp was also set up.

  Dr.Bhanu Prakash and MS. Srividya Subramanian addressed the participants discussed about the following in detail:

  • Concepts of Organ donation.
  • Organ failure and need for organ donation
  • Importance of a Donor Card
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation
  • Organ Donation Myths and facts
  • MOHAN Foundation mission, vision and its activities

  The attendees were curious and wanted to know more information about organ donation and asked several questions at the stall. Brochures and organ donor cards were distributed at the venue.

  Around 40 people attended and pledged to donate organs.

  MOHAN Foundation appreciates Dr.Chandra’s initiative to conduct the blood and organ donation camp at his residence.
