On 26th January 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Rajnikant Karle, Representative of Anulom at the Blood Donation & Organ Donation Awareness Camp organized at Jai Prakash Rahivashi Sangh, Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai to put up an Awareness Stall on Organ Donation.
Ms. Vaidehi Patil represented MOHAN Foundation, she interacted with the people who wanted to pledge for organ donation and wanted to know more about the concept of organ donation in which thorough information was given on what is organ donation, who can donate organs, when and what organs can be donated. The information on pledge form and donor cards were also given during the interactions.
Total of 35 people got sensitized on the issue of organ donation as well as pledged to donate their organs.
We wish to convey our sincere Thanks to Mr. Rajnikant Karle and Mr. Rajendra Jadhav, the President of Shraddha Saburi Mitra Mandal for giving us the opportunity to conduct an organ donation awareness stall and to further our cause in organ donation.
