On 25.01.2018, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an Awareness talk on organ donation at Atal Seva Kendra, Fatehpura Panchayat, Jhotwara, Jaipur to make villagers aware about the organ donation.
Mrs.RenuUba and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mr. Durga Lal Kumawat, Sarpanch and Mr. Shambhu Prakash Sharma along with 50 villagers attended the session and got sensitized.
Mrs. RenuUba described the concept of organ donation and brain death using presentation and video which was highly appreciated by the villagers.
During the talk some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF- Navjeevan team.
1. How many lives can be saved by one brain dead person?
2. What are the reasons of brain death?
3. Is there any law made in India for organ transplant?
After the session, 30 villagers took the donor cards and posed with message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION"
