On December 9, 2025, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur, conducted a “Gift of Life” organ donation awareness session at NCCI, Nagpur, with the objective of spreading awareness about organ donation and motivating theological students to support this noble cause. This session was attended by the students from various parts of India, including Assam, Chandigarh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Ms. Veena Wathore, conducted ‘Gift of Life’ session and provided comprehensive information on organ donation and transplantation in interactive way. She explained the concept of organ donation, its importance in saving lives, and clarified common myths and misconceptions associated with organ donation.
Following this, Ms. Neha Sailwar shared detailed information on the organ donation pledge process, guiding participants step-by-step on how to take the pledge. She also informed the participants about the various training courses available through MOHAN Foundation, encouraging participants to further engage with the cause.
An interactive discussion and brief question-and-answer segment was held, during which participants raised queries related to organ donation and the pledge process. These were addressed by the team.
Around 30 participants attended the session and actively participated throughout the programme.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants for their cooperation and involvement. MOHAN Foundation sincerely acknowledges Mr. Mozes and NCCI, Nagpur, for extending their support and providing the opportunity to conduct this awareness session.
