Mr. Vikash Mishra, Captain of the Ekatmata Nagar Cricket team, invited MOHAN Foundation to create awareness about organ donation among his fellow team players. The event was organized at the St. Joseph playground on the occasion of Diwali on 14th November.
Mr. Mishra introduced Mr. Behera, Transplant Coordinator from the Foundation. Mr. Behera began his talk by the explaining to the audience, the activities of the Foundation, its vision and mission. He then proceeded to explain:
Many queries were also answered by Mr. Bulu Behera about allocation and distribution, difference between coma and brain death, religion and organ donation. Around 30 players and visitors were present and 10 of them signed consent forms and picked up donor cards.
