On 7th October 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by FZR Club house, Titwala to setup an information desk on organ donation as part of their blood donation camp.
Mr. Akash Salve represented MOHAN Foundation and counselled more than 40 people. Some questions that were raised were - how can we donate organs, how can we pledge for our organs, who would be the recipient of my organs, how long can organs such as heart, kidneys, etc. be stored? All the queries were satisfactorily answered by Mr. Akash Salve, our Transplant Coordinator.
A few of them took the pledge to avail of the donor card. The organizers and all visitors thanked MOHAN Foundation for conducting the awareness program and promised to spread awareness among friends and family member.
