On 20th September 2024, MFJCF (MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum) organized an awareness session on organ donation at Rajasthan Scouts & Guides Divisional Headquarters, specifically for college students. This initiative aimed to educate the youth about the life-saving potential of organ donation and to dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding the topic. The session was conducted by Mrs. Priyanka Bhatt, Program Manager of MFJCF, and concluded by Dr. Anushree Nair, Project Director of MFJCF. The session received an overwhelmingly positive response from the students. Many participants expressed their eagerness to become organ donors, showing enthusiasm for signing up and supporting the cause. Several students also indicated their willingness to advocate for organ donation by sharing the information with their friends and families. This ripple effect is expected to help the message of organ donation reach a broader audience through personal networks.
Close to 105 participants were sensitized.
