

On 21st September 2024, MFJCF conducted an awareness session on organ donation at the AU Skill Academy. The session aimed to educate trainees on the significance of organ donation and its life-saving potential, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the current scenario in India. Mrs. Priyanka Bhatt, Project Manager, MFJCF provided insightful details on the state of organ donation in India. She highlighted the vast number of patients awaiting life-saving transplants and the growing disparity between the demand for organs and the available donors. The session covered the ethical and moral responsibilities involved in organ donation. Mrs. Bhatt focused on how organ donation is not only an act of compassion but also a moral duty that contributes to the well-being of society.
