On 15th Aug 2022, MOHAN Foundation, in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Balaji Hall, Narendra Nagar, Nagpur on the occasion of Independence Day.
Ms. Prarthana was the chief guest and the speaker for the day.
Ms. Prarthana introduced MOHAN Foundation and walked through the concept of organ donation and transplantation. The audience were made aware of the effective usage of organ donation helpline 1800 103 7100. Types of organ donations, how to register as an organ donor, concept of brain death and circulatory death was discussed in detail.
She then shared the importance of donor card and encouraged each and every one to pledge their organs.
