On June 19, 2025, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Satyaniketan School, Civil Lines, Nagpur, to conduct an awareness session on Organ and Body Donation for students of Theology. The session was organized as part of their workshop on Discipleship and Witnessing.
The program commenced with introductory remarks by Mr. Mozes Gaur, Program Executive, who highlighted the ongoing organ donation drive initiated by the National Council of Churches in India.
Ms. Veena Wathore, Project Manager at MOHAN Foundation, led the main session through an engaging PowerPoint presentation. She explained the importance, process, and impact of organ and body donation in saving and improving lives. The session also addressed common myths and encouraged participants to become advocates for the cause.
A total of 11 participants attended the session, including representatives from Nashik, Pune, and Madhya Pradesh. All attendees were sensitized to the concept of organ and body donation and expressed appreciation for the informative interaction.
MOHAN Foundation extends its gratitude to Satyaniketan School for the opportunity to spread awareness and foster a culture of donation among future faith leaders.
