On 15th April 2023, Dr. Neena, Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation, Assistant Professor in B.R.M College of Education Gharaunda, Haryana, Lay Lecturer First Aid in St. John Ambulance India and Brigade Officer in Red Cross, Karnal, Haryana organised awareness talk on organ donation at Gurudwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Singh Sabha, Gharunda, Karnal, Haryana.
The session was organized by Bhai Gurjant Singh, Sevadar, Gurudwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Singh Sabha , Gharunda, Karnal, Haryana.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and Brain Death by Dr.Neena
In this talk, she explained what is Organ Donation, Tissue Donation, Myths on Organ Donation, Brain Death, Cardiac Death and Living Donations. She also explained benefits of helpline number also gave helpline number to all participants.
It was indeed an interactive session as participants asked various questions and expressed their support for the noble cause. 9 of them took the donor cards.
Around 20 participants attended the session.
