

Ms. Merlin. P Intern, from Nazareth College of Arts & Science organized an awareness session on Organ Health on June 25, 2025 at Vivekananda Vidyalaya Matriculation School, Putlur. This was a part of her Organ Donation Ambassador program, The session aimed to educate students on the importance of maintaining organ health and to raise awareness about the value of organ donation.
The session began with by Mr. Ganesh C, Senior Project Executive introducing to MOHAN Foundation, its mission and activities.
Ms. Merlin spoke on Organ Health, why organ fails, following healthy habits, transplantation as a solution to organ failure, organ donation, brain death and how to obtain organ through government.
82 students and 5 teaching staff actively participated and the session was very interactive and well-received by the participants. The students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity by asking more questions and expressing their doubts related to the topic.
Mr. Ganesh took the time to patiently clarify all their doubts and questions, ensuring better understanding among the students. MOHAN Foundation thanks Vivekananda Vidyalaya Matriculation School for the opportunity.
