Ms. Yogashree M, Intern at MOHAN Foundation and Organ Donation Ambassador, organized an awareness session on organ donation on June 21, 2025. The awareness session was conducted for the students and faculty of Sree Hari Saradha School, Pakkam, Tiruvallur. Mr Ganesh, Senior Project Executive, MOHAN Foundation was present to guide the ambassador.
The session aimed to educate 9th and 10th standard students and faculty on the importance of organ donation, its life-saving potential, and to dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding the process. Interactive discussions, informative presentations, and real-life stories were shared to inspire a positive attitude towards organ donation. The event received enthusiastic participation, reflecting the growing interest and need for awareness among the younger generation. Around 30 participants, including students and staff, attended the session, making it interactive, informative, and impactful.
After the session Ms Yogashree also conducted a quiz on the functions of organs and causes of their failure.
