



On 17th January 2025, SOTTO Rajasthan, in collaboration with SMS Medical College Jaipur, organized an insightful workshop on organ and tissue transplantation at the Skill Lab, Trauma Centre, Jaipur. The event featured engaging sessions by renowned speakers such as Dr. Dhananjai Agarwal, who provided an overview of organ transplantation in Rajasthan, and Dr. Chitra Singh, who discussed optimizing brain-dead patient management. Dr. Manish Agarwal and Dr. Deepak Gupta delivered detailed talks on brain death identification and declaration, with Dr. Gupta also conducting hands-on workshops on pediatric brain death. Dr. Sunil Shroff enriched the program with an overview of organ donation in India, grief counseling techniques, and practical demonstrations, while Ms. Pallavi from the MOHAN Foundation led a dedicated grief counseling session. Dr. Rashmi Gupta highlighted the medico-legal aspects of organ donation. Practical workshops covered brain death signs, apnea tests, legal procedures, and grief counseling under the expert guidance of Dr. Shroff and Dr. Gupta. Adding a creative touch, MFJCF prepared a vibrant selfie point featuring beautifully designed kites with organ donation messages, furthering their mission to raise awareness about this noble cause.
