On 12th August 2016, REAL Trust, Chennai conducted an awareness programme for women from Keeraithottam, Chennai. Mr. Lawrence, Executive Director invited Govt. Stanley Hospital to speak on Organ Donation. The programme began with a welcome address by Mrs. Kala Field Organizer, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, Chennai. The resource persons were Dr. Karthik, Anesthetist, Govt. Stanley Hospital and Mr. Prakash. K Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation deputed at Stanley Hospital.
Dr. Karthik spoke about need of organ donation and Mr. Prakash K. started the session with an activity and explained the Concepts of Organ Donation.

Totally 40 women participated and supported the noble cause and all of then took donor cards then all were given an information Brochure.
