On 9th July 2015 MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct a talk on Role of Investigating Officer in Brain Death and Organ Donation. The training was attended by the Inspectors, Sub Inspectors and Head Constable from Chennai, Kancheepurm and Thiruvallur Districts under the Avadi Police Recruitment School (PRS). The aim of the programme was to make them understand their role in the concept of organ donation. The talk was given in the campus of the Police Training College, Ashok Nagar.
Ms. A. T. Sunitha Transplant Coordinator MOHAN Foundation started the session with a short film on explaining the Concept of Organ Donation after that she covered the following topic during her session
Totally 55 police officials attended the talk and all pledged to donate organs and picked a donor card. Finally Ms. Sunitha thanked the police officers for the support and cooperation.
