On 6th December, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation was organized for the employees of Ashoka.
Ashoka is a global organization that identifies and invests in leading social entrepreneurs.

Ms. Lalitha Raghuram, the country director of MOHAN Foundation gave a talk to the employees. She focused on blood donation, deceased organ donation and whole body donation. Also explained the Transplantation of Human Organs Act 1994 and Rules related to declaration of brain death and Tamil Nadu Government orders. She She ended her talk by sharing few real stories, by which the whole group was moved. After the session few participants raised queries. All queries were clarified.
All the participants pledged their organs by picking up a donor card.
