On 15th Aug 2014, Sudhesi Friends Club Pulianthope, Chennai requested Cadaver Transplant Programme to display a stall on Organ Donation at Pulianthope. The organizer K.M. Parthasarathy said that they have been conducting different awareness programmes on this occasion of Independence Day so this year they wanted to promote Organ Donation and Blood Donation. Mr. Prakash K. Transplant Coordinators MOHAN Foundation, Chennai was deputed for this duty and set up a stall for the occasion.
The Transplant Coordinator explained the following topics to the visitors.
Around 45 youths visited the stall, asked several questions and all the queries were answered than totally 30 people donated blood & 25 people picked donor cards and supported the cause by pledging their organs and picking donor cards.
