Students of Maharaja School, Jaipur learn about Organ Donation

  • On 11th September 2019, an awareness talk on organ donation was conducted for the students of Maharaja Senior Secondary School, Choti Chopar in Jaipur. Around 75 students participated in the programme.

    The concepts of organ donation and brain death were explained by Mrs. Kamla Choudhary and Ms. Renu Uba, the speakers. The following points were discussed in detail:

    • Types of organ donation and who can be a donor
    • Difference between natural death and brain death
    • Donation following natural death and brain death
    • Importance of the donor card
    • Registering at MOHAN Foundation to be organ donors

     

    It was an interactive session and the students were motivated to support the cause of organ donation.
